The GRC – Global Returnees Conference, a retreat for returnees from all over the world organized by JCFN, which has been taking place since 2015, will be held in May 2021.
The planning committee was established in March, and the committee members in Kanto, Tokai and Kansai have been preparing for the conference online every month.
On Saturday, July 11, the GRC21 kick-off gathering was held online. There was a sharing of the theme of GRC21 by the Committee Director, introduction of the Committee members, praise and worship, testimonies of past GRC participants, and a message through Rev. Eiko Takamizawa, one of the main speakers of GRC21, and finally, we were divided into small groups and had a time to pray for GRC21. We have taken. This kick-off gathering was an opportunity to officially announce the conference.
In response to the spread of the COVID-19, we have been discussing what form God wants us to adopt to hold this conference in the future. The theme is “In Jesus’ Name…” and the theme verse is Acts 3:16.
Our first face-to-face planning committee meeting is scheduled for November.
