I am Chihiro Okada, Japan staff.
Every year, my family takes a summer vacation in August and visits my husband’s parents’ home in Hokuriku.
And we try to visit returnees in Hokuriku.
This year, we stopped by again. Trinity Church Toyama. It is a church founded by a returnee family in Toyama.
This year, we were able to visit on Sunday and attend the worship service together.
Several years ago, we introduced a returnee family to them, and since then, they have been connected to the church and are now part of building it up.
This time, we also visited with a returnee family from the Kansai area.
Four families all together for a total of 17. Next year, maybe a kids’ camp?
We are very encouraged by visiting returnees.
